Sue Carroll, can you really comment?
Sue Carroll in the Daily Mirror has referred to Stephen Fry as a “smarmy comedian”, and a “self satisfied, smug, oh so sensitive berk”, just because he’s in line to front the 2012 olympics. Writing for The Mirror, commenting on Brangelina, and other “hot topics” has clearly made you a touch bitter love. Is it everything you hoped your career would be?

Someone asked me the other day what my favourite album of 2009 was. There was a moment of panic. I don’t think I was very aware of what was happening musically in 2009. The good thing about liking great music is that most of it has been around a long time, and at 24 you are going backwards through the catalogues rather than the singles racks. Does anyone buy singles anymore?
